Who we are…
Daniel Wright
Daniel Charles Wright originally hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since leaving the city at 18, he has enjoyed stints in countless locations across the globe. His journeys have brought him to find homes in California, England, Ireland, Germany, Norway, Illinois, Texas, and North Carolina.
In 2025, Daniel graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with both his Bachelor’s and his Master’s degrees, Summa Cum Laude. His most recent adventure has found him in the desolate sands of Arizona, where he spends his free time teaching English Composition and Literature at Grand Canyon University.
Daniel’s influences are as varied as his past.
Having spent time as a studio rat in the Nashville, TN he tries to capture a certain musicality in each of his creative projects. He believes all the best prose has a rhythm to it, a heartbeat that makes the words dance and come to life on the page.
His time in the United States Navy also deeply impacted his artistic sensibilities. Eagle-eyed readers will catch glimpses of his experience working in combat medicine creep up in many of his works.
His love of travel also certainly appears in the adventures he pens. Daniel’s protagonists yearn to see the world, enjoy it’s delicacies, and survey the untamed uncharted wilderness.
More than anything though, Mr. Wright is influenced by his childhood, a time he recalls being filled with wonder, creativity, and unadulterated whimsy. His chief desire is to recreate that sense of childlike wonder in each of his works—to paint a world readers can sink comfortably into and get completely lost in for a while.
As an editor, Daniel is extremely interested in providing a platform to a diverse range of writers and characters. He believes literature is a place where everyone should find a place to escape, and all walks of life should be given their time to shine bright upon the page.
Daniel’s debut novel The Aeronaut was published in 2025, and can be found exclusively for purchase here.
